A. Mohan, President PCAM
Dear Fellow PCOs and Friends,
It’s deeply honored to have been elected as President of PCAM. I thank you all very much indeed for the confidence you have placed in me.
Many of the team members are well qualified academically with MBAs and relevant degrees in various academic fields from finance, entomology, business management to law so that will serve the PCAM well. Some of them have in the past served in various leadership capacities in the PCAM ECXO. With their leadership background, experience and commitment, we can be sure we are not short of experience to ensure continuity in the journey to bring about change in the PCAM. It is a change to institute accountability, transparency and responsibility to members. We must remember that the supreme authority of the PCAM is vested in the members not the executive committee!
In listening to many voices from members in the past years, our motivation seek elected office is to bring the PCAM to more inclusiveness among the members and various stakeholders such as suppliers and government authorities.
Get Together Dinner 2012.
The PCAM Exco-Committee for the Term 2011/2013 have planned and organised a
Get Together Dinner 2012. In conjunction with this, we have also planned a half Day seminar for the pest control industry to provide updates from the government on issues relating to the pest control industry such as updates on the Pest Control Rules by the Pesticide Board and Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA) awareness campaign by DOSH.
It is felt that the Pest Control industry needs to have a get together for network and fellowship. The ultimate goal is to make the PCAM friendlier with the government in order to work for the betterment of the industry and to ensure that our suppliers and industry supporters are recognised as part of the “team” that supports each pest control company and a friend of the industry irrespective of the commercial background and products.
We are inviting you to be a part of the PCAM’s effort and the purpose of this PCAM Get Together Dinner is to gather the pest control companies from all over the country to meet and learn of the latest developments of the Malaysian Pest Control Industry.
PCAM GET TOGETHER DINNER on January 13, 2012 to be held at the Grand Olympic Hotel, Jalan Hang Jebat,50150 Kuala Lumpur.

PCAM Building – A dream to consider!
As we are aware that over the years we never had thought to have our own building and now it’s high time to have our very own building. To attain this we request the feedback from all the PCAM members because I strongly believe in TEAM WORK to the achieve this noble dream of owning our very own building one day!
Let us work together to promote and further the aims and objectives of our organization. We as a new EXCO team will assure that changes will be made, with reforms and create a new image in our PCAM. We assured that will be transparent and obey the laws in accordance to the constitution. We will hear the grouses of the PCAM members and with collective support of EXCO’s and members we will resolve it.
Once again my sincere thanks to you all for the confidence you have placed in me and the EXCO. It is my fervent hope that our organization will have successful outcomes.
WORK AS TEAM AND WE NEED MORE SUPPORT FROM MEMBERS.

A Mohan
